They are written as they are Heat magazines exclusives interview with a celebrity (winner of a famous reality TV show. They also make it big and bold so it stands out and it attracts more people. One of the cover lines also uses a name check of a royal family member (Prince Harry).

The colour pink makes the magazine more vibrant and it shows that the main target audience for the magazine is mainly women and it also shows the stereotypes that women/girls like the colour pink. The colour yellow makes it match with the colour pink and it also makes it bold and stand out in the magazine as the big text is in the colour yellow.

4) What differences can you find between the use of design and typography between Tatler and Heat? List at least three differences and explain the effect on audiences.
The difference between Tatler and heat is that Tatler is more formal. This is because Tatler only uses a decent amount of text and only has one image. Another point is that the magazine only requires important information and information about other celebs in a negative way. Whilst on the other hand Heat shows an excessive amount of information about other celebs being portrayed in a negative way.

The women are represented as controversial. A good example for this is Cheryl Beckham as she gets cheated on by Liam Payne and also that the media represents her a controversial.

Tatler shows the more classy side where its fancy whereas heat is filled with all the latest scandals and rumours and the hot gossip which is going on and their target population is more of the working class with their cheap affordable magazines whereas Tatler is a more luxiourous magazine brand and its directed for the middle/upper class to read and enjoy.
